Suzanne Clores has been practicing and teaching yoga and mindfulness for nearly two decades. She discovered Ashtanga yoga during her years as an undergraduate at Columbia University in New York, and eventually trained with master teachers in the Anusara yoga tradition while getting her MFA in fiction at The University of Arizona. She is the author of Memoirs of a Spiritual Outsider (Conari, 2000) and the founder and producer of The Extraordinary Project, a podcast and online collection of exceptional human experiences. Her writing has appeared in Salon, Elle, The Rumpus, on National Public Radio and in several anthologies. She has been a resident at The Vermont Studio Center, The Omega Center, and The Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. She lives in Evanston, IL with her family.
