VioLa Elkins

“It’s not always about the routine, but it’s about the journey within your steps.” Viola is the creative founder of The R.A.G.E. Project / RawFunkyStreetFlav and former Artistic Director for Culture Shock Chicago, a professional hip-hop company established in 1998. She has performed with major Grammy award recording artist R. Kelly and was featured  in the film Save The Last Dance. Viola competed on Dance Fever TV hosted by ABC Family. She produced and directed Music Gave Me Life/The Best in the Mid West Showcase and assisted in production of Dance Chicago Streets and Urban Movement Showcase with John Schmitz. She is a current model for Hairlogic products. Viola teaches or has taught her unique self – taught style of street dance at Northwestern University, Joel Hall Dance Center,Vero Dance Studio, North Side Dance Theater, Crunch Fitness, Chicago Athletic Clubs and ID Gym.
