Fitness is for every body!

Whether you are coming to fitness for the first time, after a short or long hiatus, or are an athlete or dancer looking to improve your performance, I can help you find your strength, power, and balance. My focus is on proper alignment and core activation for a safe and effective workout. Once you establish a solid foundation, I tailor workouts to meet your specific fitness goals, drawing on a large vocabulary of movement and equipment to keep your training progressing and enjoyable. Fitness is a life-long journey, not a destination.

I’ve danced my whole life and grew up by the beach, spending a lot of time in and on the water. In college, I had to take a quarter of PE to graduate and waited too long to register, missing all the “fun” classes, and ended up taking a weightlifting class. I fell in love with the empowerment that accompanies strength training, both on the gym floor and in a group setting. Whether teaching group fitness or working one-on-one, I love to nudge people outside their comfort zone and help them accomplish and discover things they wouldn’t on their own.
