My love of movement began at a young age, when I joined the swim team at my local Chicago park district pool. I loved the exhilaration of swimming competitively, as well as the sense of camaraderie and friendly rivalry from my teammates. I continued to swim throughout my academic years, while also exploring rock climbing, soccer, and track.
The adventurous years of my twenties brought a few twists and turns to my fitness journey, but I always returned to movement as a way to reconnect with myself. I took up marathon running and yoga as a form of active meditation. Strength training, though initially something I did to complement my endurance training, brought a new kind of confidence I soon fell in love with.
I want to share my passion for health and fitness with you and help you discover your own joy in movement. The human body is amazing- and so are you!
