Introduction

I developed a love of fitness later in life. I was not an athletic (or particularly coordinated) child, despite growing up in a very active family. But as an adult, seeing friends and family set and achieve incredible fitness goals was such an inspiration. I began running in college, working up from the occasional 5k to now regularly running 10k's, half marathons, and marathons. Through that process, I was introduced to strength training and its many physical, mental, and performance benefits. I decided to pursue personal training because I wanted to help other people find that love of fitness.

The gym can be an intimidating place if you're new or feel unsure of what to do. Establishing consistent routines can be tough, especially when other obligations keep us from prioritizing our health, whether that's our time at the gym or our time in the kitchen making healthy meals. I know firsthand how hard it is to navigate the ups and downs of a health and fitness journey. My mission is to help my clients feel comfortable in the gym, find enjoyment in exercise, establish healthy routines, and reach their goals.
