Steve has been practicing yoga since 1987 and teaching since 1995. He was first drawn to yoga by a magazine article. Practicing the postures, breathing, and mindfulness techniques suggested by the article, Steve noticed old sport injuries starting to heal in new and profound ways. He instantly became addicted. Steve considers himself extremely fortunate, the yoga community was very small in the early 90s giving him access to the most practiced yogis in America. His background is in research science and he takes that passion with him on his exploration of the yoga traditions. Steve's core belief is that yoga is first and foremost a practice, and if you let it, the practice will reveal your highest qualities.
