Playing Division I softball during her Undergrad was the athletic stress relief that Lis needed to help get her through school successfully. So, once she was enrolled in Graduate School, Lis knew she needed a new athletic goal and a way to help her take a break from studying. When her Dad suggested she take a spin class to help save her knees from running, she was hooked. Teaching cycle made sense since her friends always trusted her with music choices that she knew she could put together that would get people moving! Always needing a new challenge, Lis decided to balance out cardio with her lifting background from the college weight room. BodyPump was a great fit when she found it was all choreographed to music! When Lis isn't teaching group fitness, she is teaching Fifth Grade, training for races, or Curling!
