Lauren got into yoga when a running injury required her to pursue alternative methods of movement. She originally was trained in a highly athletic method of yoga, but has since slowed all the way down and teaches classes that are intuitive, breath-focused and skillfully strengthen and open the body. From power to restorative yoga, her practice has always been a safe place for her to gain clarity and process her thoughts and emotions; she teaches her classes with the intention of providing that same space for others.
Lauren completed her 200-hour training in 2017 and has taught in various gym and studio spaces throughout Chicago. She is also a swimmer and a runner and loves to incorporate the cross training that yoga provides into her teaching.
