WHAT IS HYROX?

HYROX is The World Series of Fitness Racing. And Chicago Athletic Clubs is here to get you ready for the race.

 

The HYROX competition combines both running and functional workout stations, where participants run 1km (.62 miles), followed by 1 functional workout station, repeated eight times. Each race is hosted indoors in expansive exhibition halls, creating an immersive and electrifying race, where spectators can support you from the very beginning to the very end. This race format remains consistent across the globe, enabling global leaderboards and a cumulative World Championship at the end of each race season. Accommodating both professional athletes and everyday fitness enthusiasts looking to take their training to the next level, HYROX is the sport for every body.

Accredited HYROX Training Clubs are affiliated facilities that offer HYROX Training. That’s us. We offer accessible performance training with a purpose for every body.

 

WHAT DOES HYROX TRAINING LOOK LIKE AT CAC AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

CAC’s HYROX Training Club Offers:

 

  1. 1. 1 on 1 HYROX Personal Training: Each club has several specialty trained HYROX Performance Coaches. Pricing to train 1:1 or 2:1 with a HYROX trainer is the same as regular session/package pricing. See below for more details.
  2. 2. HYROX Small Group Training: $200 for 8 HYROX SGT classes per month. See below for more details.
  3. 3. Group Fitness Classes featuring similar competition modalities. See below for more details.

1 on 1 HYROX PERSONAL TRAINING

 

 

 

HYROX 1 on 1 Personal Training is a focused, coach-led session that tailors HYROX-style conditioning to your individual fitness level and goals. In these sessions, you work one-on-one with a certified HYROX Performance Coach who assesses your strengths and limitations, designs a customized, technique-focused plan, and guides you through the precise HYROX movements (like running, sled push/pull, farmers carry, squats, burpees, wall balls, and more) with real-time feedback. The goal is to build endurance, strength, and efficient movement patterns while tracking progress and adjusting intensity to maximize performance for HYROX events or general fitness. 

 

 Each club has several specialty trained HYROX Performance Coaches. Pricing to train 1 on 1 or 2 on 1 with a HYROX trainer is the same as regular Personal Training session/package pricing. To request a personal HYROX Performance Coach, complete the information request form below.

HYROX SMALL GROUP TRAINING

 

 

 

HYROX Small Group Training Classes are structured, coached training programs designed to help you build HYROX-specific skills, endurance, and race readiness in a small, supportive environment.

These sessions are ideal if you want:

  • Clear coaching without guessing your training — tailored to your level and goals.
  • Skill development in HYROX “pillars” such as running economy, pacing, sled push/pull technique, and functional station performance YouTube.
  • Race strategy and transition timing practice to improve pacing and efficiency.
  • Scalable progression for singles or doubles, with adjustments for injury history or fitness level.

 

Who It’s For

  • Beginners or returning athletes wanting a structured HYROX plan.
  • Competitors aiming to improve technique, pacing, and race strategy.
  • Those who prefer small-group coaching over large classes.
