|As a yoga instructor (and perpetual student), Julie celebrates the ancient body-based practice of yoga with an attention to both alignment and breath work, and ultimately, self discovery. Pairing creative music with mindful sequences, Julie encourages students to allow yoga to "meet them where they are" in their practice. And while the natural benefits of yoga include greater muscle strength and flexibility, Julie seeks to share its greater gift: a sense of well-being that extends far beyond the mat.
Julie completed a 200-hour Yoga Alliance training in 2013, and teaches both adults and children, in addition to her career as a special education teacher.
