Mandee grew up swimming, but it wasn't until high school that she decided to pursue the sport more seriously. By her senior year, she won a state championship in New Jersey in the 100 Breaststroke and made the decision to head south for college and swim at the University of South Carolina. As a Gamecock, she accomplished a lot, not only as a collegiate athlete but also as a lesson instructor for kids that were just learning to swim. Following college, Mandee moved up to Chicago and in 2010, she started coaching the masters team at CAC. Over the past six years, she has greatly enjoyed working with everyone on the team and looks forward to continuing to coach for years to come.
