I’ve been working as a massage professional for over seventeen years and received my training at The Chicago School of Massage. While graduating in the top of my class, I was also voted Volunteer of the Year.
My career has been spent primarily in a chiropractic office and the Evanston Athletic Club, and I also worked at Block Cancer Center. This has enabled me to reach a wide range of people and health issues, from professional athletes needing very deep pressure to cancer patients where a very light touch was needed.
My approach is rooted in the belief that the body responds best when there is good communication between client and therapist.
It’s your massage. That’s why it is important for me to know if the pressure is too light, too deep, or how I need to change my approach. My focus is to help you feel better and I take your time and concerns seriously. A massage need not hurt to be therapeutic. An enjoyable massage is therapeutic in itself.
