Why CAC RunClub is for you.

We all know the truth: as individuals we may be strong, but together we can conquer the world. The CAC RunClub is your new community made up of runners looking to train and hang out with other people who have the same passion for running (and socializing). We train hard and we play hard. We hang out often outside of the club through various group events organized during the week and on the weekends such as team-organized runs, coach-organized informational clinics, team social activities, and volunteering and cheering each other on at races. 

We are here to help you crush your running goals.  Whether you are training for your first or your one-hundredth race - or just looking to up your running game - the CAC RunClub's elite training program provides you with the structure and challenge that you need to succeed.  With 3 group trainings per week plus motivation on and off the track, we will be there with you step by step to help you achieve your personal best. 

2020 RUNCLUB
TRAINING SCHEDULE

LOCATION: LINCOLN PARK ATHLETIC CLUB (LPAC) & LINCOLN SQUARE ATHLETIC CLUB (LSAC)
QUARTERLY TRAINING SEGMENTS

The first quarter of RunClub will train 3 days each week beginning the first week of January, 2020 through March, 2020 
Each RunClub quarterly segment will be limited to 12 participants.

Tuesdays & Saturdays: Run Training at LPAC

  • Indoor (Winter) drill/interval/hill/fartlek training – Tuesdays 5:30pm-6:30pm
  • Long runs on Saturdays – beginning at LPAC going to the lake to participate and join in (time TBD)

Fridays: Strength Training at LSAC

  • Strength training will be held at the SGT Room at LSAC on Fridays from 5:30am – 6:20am

TRAINING PROGRAM OPTIONS

Each RunClub quarterly segment will be limited to 12 participants.

Four segment options per year:

  • January through March, 2020 – Training for: Ravenswood 5K & Chicago Half Marathon
  • April through June, 2020 – Training for: July 5K’s & Up | Rock & Roll Half Marathon
  • July through September, 2020 – Training for: Sept-October 5K’s & Up | Chicago Half Marathon
  • *July through October – Training for: Chicago Marathon
    *Longer training segment includes additional $95 to participate.

Quarterly Training Membership

$100 Initial Registration Fee (one-time charge)
Includes:
1hr initial consultation with team coach
30 min run or strength assessment
RunClub T-Shirt

Quarterly Fee:
Members - $300
Non-members* - $375

Quarterly RunClub Membership Includes:

  • 3 group trainings per week
    • Weekday technical runs (speed, interval, hills, etc)
    • Weekday strength/drill/core workout
    • Weekend long runs
  • TrainingPeaks Account to provide programming for key races throughout the year
  • Club discounts at local races & partner shops (FleetFeet, etc)
  • Socials and Informational Clinics throughout the year

Social Only Annual Membership
$50 per year

This membership is a great option for members and non-members alike who enjoy the social aspect of RunClub but are not interested in participating in the full training schedule.  The annual Social Membership includes:
+Monthly social events
+Monthly informational clinics
+Group runs on weekends (weather and schedule permitting)
+RunClub T-shirt

*CAC RunClub is happy to welcome athletes-in-training who are not currently CAC members to join and come train with the group. However, non-CAC members will only have access to club facilities during their scheduled RunClub training days and times.  If you are interested in joining CAC, please schedule a visit with a Membership Advisor at your local club facility.
