Any Advice to beginners?: Get the safety basics down and form good habits from the start. Try to not be intimated by seasoned climbers because you can learn a lot by asking questions and just watching. Everyone starts out the same way, learning to tie the knots and when to say "belay is on" and everyone likes a confident belayer and safety conscious climbing partner.
Specialties:
Shifts/Clubs/Program responsibilities: LPAC Sundays wall supervision, teaching top rope safety basics to adult beginners
Statement (climbing philosophy, personal statement, whatever): Getting tired on a route is like being hungry for dinner. You don't have to eat the second you realize you are hungry and you don't have to stop climbing the second you feel tired. The tired feeling just means you’re having fun. Climb on!
