Jeremy Hill

Introduction:
My experience as a lifelong athlete has really impressed upon me the importance of being physically fit. Inertia is the biggest roadblock in working out: it's a lot harder to start again after you stop so the key is to never stop working or if you've stopped, there is no time like the present to get back in there! I enjoy working with all people, athletes looking to put on some muscle, women staying strong through their pregnancy, older populations trying to stay strong and flexible, everyone form the beginner to advanced lifters and everyone in between. My goal each session is to motivate you and to get the very best out of you so that no matter what your goals are, we can reach them together.

Testimonials
“Throughout the duration of our training session, Jeremy challenged and shaped my mental approach to working out and my body. For many women and men, body image is a construction based on societal pressures and media exploitations. My goals were pressured by these constraints. Jeremy challenged me each training session to view my body as ‘strong’, ‘powerful’ and ‘beautiful’. Instead of striving for ‘thinness’ eventually I was striving for health. “ Melissa Coster Member, LVAC
“Each session with Jeremy has been something new. I have a newfound regard for strength training, and through Jeremy’s knowledge and expertise I have learned countless exercises, the muscles they work, and the proper form to use. Jeremy Hill is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and patient. He is a true asset to the LVAC community.” Candace Turanzas Member, LVAC
“Jeremy is consistently attentive, and is always focused on me, correcting my form, and making sure I take exercises to exhaustion. He is never looking around the room, talking to someone else or leaving me to do other things as I’ve seen many trainers do…Since I began working with Jeremy, I have gained confidence in my physical abilities and confidence. I went from a size 12 wedding dress to a size 8. He has been my go to person for questions about training intensity and duration, nutrition and motivation. Training comes first, but we have a blast during that hour and it’s one of my favorite ways to spend my day.” Shannon Thomas Member, LVAC
“Jeremy is passionate about fitness and it shows through the energy and enthusiasm he brings to each session. His easy going personality makes for a comfortable work-out environment, and the members in Bootcamp class have become loyal clients since the beginning. He makes each workout challenging, creative and most importantly, fun…Over time, I noticed increased energy and balance and flexibility have improved immensely. If you are serious about changing your life for the better, Jeremy will lead you every step of the way.” Westley Blum Member, LVAC
"I have now been training with Jeremy since October and in the begining I was only planning to try out personal training for 2 times, then 8 times and here I am still training with him. I have to mention when I started I only did it because I needed to force myself to the gym - I was working 50-60 hours a week and did not have the motivation at all. It changed very fast - my training with Jeremy every Wednesday started becoming my breathing space and favorit day in a hard week. Jeremy helped me get my motivation back (for example texting me the day after a work out telling me that I did a good job - that gives you motivation and makes your day). His positive manner made and still makes the session worth all the money and even more, Jeremy knows what he is doing and thanks to him I have never been in such good shape. I went from doing almost nothing to training 5-6 times a week and signed up for the Chicago half and whole marathon, and I have to give Jeremy credit for being a great part in getting to where I am now. I appreciate that I was so lucky to get him as my trainer - he has my highest recommendation!!" -Lenette N.
"Like a lot of women I was never a big fan of strength training, not knowing what exercises to do, afraid I would bulk up and always a little intimidated by the equipment . However, knowing the benefits of strength training and the importance to overall health and wellbeing , as supposed to only doing cardio, I decided to give it another try to work strength training into my fitness regime. First step for me was to find a trainer that would motivate me but also knew what he was talking about. I started training with Jeremy end of 2010 and have to say that not only has it been educational but also a lot of fun and equally important, I am seeing results. Jeremy is very passionate about what he does and brings this to every single session. He listens, apart from when I am trying to negotiate my way out of doing another set, pushes you when needed and knows how to keep the sessions challenging and interesting, by mixing it up. No matter if on free weights, strength equipment or just using your own body weight. No workout session is the same and this is what keeps it interesting for me. Depending on your overall fitness goals, Jeremy will tailor your sessions accordingly and is more than happy to give advice and the tools you need to be successful." -Renate
