Introduction:
My philosophy centers around assessing and observing the body and movement to discover muscular imbalances. The exercises get the body's stabilizing muscles to provide support for joints plus maintain posture and balance during activity. This is Functional Stability and it improves core muscle strength, weak and overused muscles and prepares the body for more intense activity. I work with you to identify areas that need attention so you feel better, enhance performance and enjoy life more fully. This helps educate you to listen to your own body and become aware of the information it's giving before a possible injury. I play in a golf league and have done numerous triathlons over the past 10 years, including Chicago and Pleasant Prairie. Currently I am swimming with the West Loop Athletic Club (WAC) Masters program. I love to be outside, all activities I enjoy and I tried windsurfing this past summer!
