North Shore University Health System

REHAB SERVICES
North Shore University Health System is excited to offer these high quality classes as part of a post rehab curriculum designed to facilitate the transition into community wellness programs or baseline activity levels.

Programs offered by North Shore University Health System carry fees separate from the EAC membership fee. Classes are led by licensed Physical Therapists. A Physician referral is required for Prenatal and Postnatal classes.

PROGRAMS
AQUATIC HIP AND KNEE EXERCISE
Lower extremity strengthening and flexibility exercises.

“FOREVERCISE”
Low-impact aerobic strengthening classes for mid to older-adults POST-NATAL EXERCISE:

PILATES, BABY+ME, CARDIO AND CORE
Designed for moms who are at least 6 weeks postpartum and looking to regain fitness in the initial postpartum stages.

“FIT BEGINNINGS” PRE-NATAL AQUATIC EXERCISE
Assist expectant mothers in gaining and maintaining their fitness level. Pool aerobics classes offered.

ORTHOPEDIC YOGA
Designed for post rehab patients or those who have unsuccessfully returned to a community class following an injury.

PILATES AND PREGNANCY
Come learn the important of core strengthening during pregnancy in this mat class
